Dylan Thomas became one of the best-known Welsh poets of the twentieth century. His work includes “And death shall have no dominion” and “Do not go gentle into that good night,” as well as stories and radio scripts that brought his highly musical language to broad audiences.
A Welsh literary voice
Thomas wrote poetry, short fiction, essays and scripts, including the play for voices Under Milk Wood. The Poetry Foundation describes his literary achievement and life from 1914 to 1953. In a letter quoted by Astro-Databank, Thomas said his birth time was about 11 p.m.; the chart time is marked approximate.
