Ginger Rogers was an American actress, singer, and dancer, famed for her partnership with Fred Astaire in 1930s musical films. She appeared in 10 films with Astaire, dancing her way into cinema history ("backwards and in high heels"). Rogers also proved her dramatic ability, winning an Oscar for "Kitty Foyle". Her talent and charm made her one of the most beloved performers of Hollywood's Golden Age.
