Hugo Weaving is a British-Nigerian-Australian actor (born to English parents in Nigeria) best known for his roles in blockbuster franchises. He played Agent Smith in "The Matrix" trilogy, Elrond in "The Lord of the Rings", and voiced Megatron in "Transformers", among numerous other film, stage, and TV roles, distinguished by his commanding voice and presence.
