Gates are the 64 fundamental themes of human experience, derived from the I Ching hexagrams. Each gate represents a specific archetypal energy—a particular way of experiencing and expressing life. You have certain gates "defined" (colored in) in your chart based on where the planets were at your birth, and these represent consistent themes in your life. Gates you don't have defined are still accessible to you, but in an inconsistent, amplified way through others. Think of gates as the vocabulary of your design—the specific topics and energies you're here to explore and express.
