With Gate 61 it forms the Channel of Awareness: mystery becomes inner truth, and then Gate 24 tests and rationalizes what is useful. Without that connection, the mind may feel compelled to explain the inexplicable, turning inspiration into endless mental churn rather than a settled insight.
